Food Allergies

ALLERGY AWARENESS

Our allergen procedures have been specifically tailored for DLA Piper, these procedures are mirrored in all the regional offices cafes and lounges.

 

  • We have dedicated allergen champions in the Edinburgh team.

  • Allergen information points on display in the café and lounges.

  • Pre order sandwiches & salads supplied with allergens information.

  • Allergen posters across all DLA Sites.

  • We comply with Natasha’s Law and encourage communication with the catering team.

Calories

In order to tackle the obesity crisis in the UK, new government legislation is being introduced that effects caterers providing food for consumption outside of the home.

 

This legislation is called The Calorie Labelling (Out of Home Sector) (England) Regulations 2021. The regulations come into force on 6th April 2022.

 

All DA Piper Sites will be providing Calorie information of food products sold in the cafes and lounges. This information will be provided at the point of sale.
